Wedding at Pheasant Run

Sometimes weddings happen on a Sunday morning. That’s exactly what transpired for Heather + Kevin’s Pheasant Run wedding on a stunning Sunday. It was the day after possibly one of the biggest nights in Canadian music history – the final show from The Tragically Hip. There was a vibe in the air that was still lingering from the night before. The early morning was grey and heavy, but as the morning progressed, the clouds parted and made way for a gorgeous day for a wedding.

Heather + Kevin did two of our favourite things; a first look and had an unplugged ceremony. We can’t tell our couples enough how awesome those two things are. A first look is awesome for so many reasons, but the main one is it’s just the two of you. You can hear the reaction from one another. You feel it together. It’s so special. Our other favourite thing is an unplugged ceremony. We love that your guests want to take pictures of the two of you, but that’s what we’re there for. We would so much rather that everyone be present with the two of you, and leave the picture taking to us. You’ll thank us when you look back on your ceremony pictures and see all of your family and friends’ faces – not hidden behind a camera, smart phone or tablet.
