Summer Wedding at Pheasant Run

It started off as a rainy day for Becky + Scott’s summer wedding at Pheasant Run Golf Club, but it didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits. Becky + Scott are like two peas in a pod. I know it sounds cliché, but they really are! Becky is crazy funny. (She and I are a lot alike with very animated faces.) Scott is a gentle giant who just loves Becky to bits. You can see it every time he looks at her.

We fell in love with them at their engagement session, where Scott gave us some insight into one of our favourite shooting locations. Turns out, he had grown up in the area, and spent many hours exploring the surrounding woods and trails.

Their big day started off very wet. Everyone was constantly checking the radar because we were under some serious cloud cover. Each time there would be a break in the rain, there would be a huge sigh of relief – but only to have it start back up again.

But, not once did Becky complain. She wanted to get married in the beautiful ceremony location – OUTDOORS. She rolled with the punches, took a chance on waiting the rain out, and guess what? Becky + Scott got their outdoor ceremony.

The staff at Pheasant Run are incredible. Everything went off without a hitch because of their willingness to provide the best experience for their clients. We absolutely love shooting at this venue because they go above and beyond every.single.time.
